Daisy Blue Home Fragrance

Last updated: 13 October 2026

Welcome to Daisy Blue Home Fragrance. These Terms and Conditions explain how we operate our online store, how orders are processed and the rights and responsibilities of both our customers and our business.

Please read these terms before placing an order.

1. About Us

Daisy Blue Home Fragrance is an independent UK business owned and operated by Sophie Mitchell.

Business owner: Sophie Mitchell
Trading name: Daisy Blue Home Fragrance
Business address: 19 Low Fell Close, Keighley, West Yorkshire, BD22 6ER
Email: sales@daisybluecandles.com
Website: www.daisybluecandles.com

Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Daisy Blue Home Fragrance.

2. Our Products

We offer a carefully curated collection of home fragrance products and home accessories, including wax melts, candles, reed diffusers and decorative interiors.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, prices and availability are accurate.

However, colours and appearances may vary slightly depending on screen settings, lighting and the nature of individual products.

Any important product information, including fragrance descriptions and usage instructions, is provided on the relevant product page or packaging.

3. Placing an Order

When you place an order through our website, you will receive an order confirmation by email.

This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.

A contract is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order, normally by sending a dispatch confirmation.

Occasionally, we may be unable to fulfil an order because of stock availability, an obvious pricing error or another genuine issue.

If this happens, we will contact you and refund any payment taken for items we cannot supply.

We reserve the right to decline orders where there is a legitimate reason to do so, subject to applicable consumer law.

4. Prices and Payment

All prices are displayed in pounds sterling (£).

The total cost of your order, including applicable delivery charges, will be shown before you complete your purchase.

Payment must be made using one of the payment methods available at checkout.

We reserve the right to change product prices and promotional offers. Changes will not affect orders where a contract has already been formed, except where agreed with the customer or permitted by law.

5. Delivery

We currently deliver to addresses within Great Britain only (England, Scotland and Wales).

Orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Tracked 48.

We normally aim to process and dispatch orders within 1–2 working days, although this may take longer during particularly busy periods.

Made-to-order candles: Our candles are produced following an order and may require up to seven calendar days to manufacture before dispatch. If we anticipate a longer delay, we will contact you.

Delivery estimates are provided for guidance and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Unless a different timeframe has been agreed, we will deliver your order without undue delay and within 30 days of the contract being formed, as required by applicable consumer law.

We remain responsible for your goods until they are delivered to you or someone you have authorised to receive them, in accordance with UK consumer law.

If your parcel is lost, damaged or significantly delayed, please contact us so that we can investigate and provide an appropriate resolution.

Further details are available in our Shipping Policy.

6. Returns and Cancellation Rights

We want you to be delighted with your purchase.

For most products purchased online, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, without giving a reason.

You must notify us of your decision to cancel within this period. You then normally have a further 14 days to return the goods.

Unless we have agreed otherwise, customers are responsible for the direct cost of returning goods when exercising their change-of-mind cancellation rights, provided this was communicated before purchase.

Where you exercise your statutory cancellation rights, we will refund the amount required by law, including the original standard delivery charge where applicable, within the legally required timeframe. We may withhold the refund until we receive the returned goods or evidence that they have been sent back.

You may be responsible for a reduction in the value of returned goods caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Certain products may be exempt from cancellation rights under applicable law, including genuinely personalised or bespoke products and certain sealed products that are unsuitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed.

Please note: A candle being made following an order does not automatically remove your statutory cancellation rights.

Please see our Returns and Refunds Policy for full details and instructions.

7. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

We take great care when preparing and packaging orders.

If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is not as described or is incorrect, please contact us at sales@daisybluecandles.com.

We may ask for photographs or further details to help us investigate and resolve the issue.

Where goods do not meet the requirements of the Consumer Rights Act 2015, customers are entitled to the remedies provided by law, which may include a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund, depending on the circumstances.

Where a return is necessary because goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, we will cover reasonable return costs as required by law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.

8. Promotions and Discount Codes

From time to time, we may offer promotional discounts, special collections or limited-time offers.

Promotions are subject to any specific conditions communicated at the time of the offer.

Unless otherwise stated, discount codes cannot be combined with other offers.

Discounts must normally be applied at checkout before an order is completed.

We reserve the right to withdraw or amend promotions for future orders, subject to applicable law and any commitments already made.

9. Product Safety and Use

Our home fragrance products should always be used in accordance with the safety and care instructions supplied with them.

Customers should follow the instructions provided for candles, wax melts, reed diffusers and other fragrance products.

Products must be used only for their intended purpose.

Nothing in this section excludes our responsibility for supplying safe products or affects any legal rights or remedies available to customers.

10. Website Content

The photographs, written content, branding, product descriptions and other original materials displayed on our website belong to Daisy Blue Home Fragrance or their respective rights holders.

They must not be reproduced or used commercially without the relevant owner's permission, except where permitted by law.

We aim to keep our website accurate, secure and accessible, although temporary interruptions or technical issues may occasionally occur.

11. Privacy and Personal Information

We respect your privacy and are committed to handling personal information responsibly.

Personal information collected when you browse our website or place an order is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.

Our website is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform used to operate our online store.

Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information about how personal data is collected, used and protected.

12. Our Responsibility

We are responsible for fulfilling our obligations under the contract and applicable consumer law.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or liability arising from your statutory consumer rights.

We do not seek to exclude responsibility for losses that are a foreseeable consequence of our breach of contract or failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances for which we are not legally responsible.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions occasionally to reflect changes in our business, services or legal requirements.

The version applicable to your order will generally be the version in effect when the contract was formed.

Changes will not retrospectively remove or reduce your contractual or statutory rights.

14. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Customers retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protections that apply to them.

Nothing in these terms prevents consumers from bringing proceedings in a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law.
